Since our inception, we have experienced tremendous growth, expanding throughout the UK and into the European Union in 2020. Our expansion was fueled by our commitment to providing furniture that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and comfortable. Our History

In July 2021, we joined forces with Boohhome, a like-minded furniture company, to further strengthen our position in the market. The merger has allowed us to offer an even wider range of products, as well as more efficient and streamlined services, all while maintaining our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. 

The brand's commitment to growth and innovation was further demonstrated in January 2021 when it secured £1.05 million in Series A funding from CLSA Capital. This investment facilitated the establishment of a warehouse in London and marked the transition from Manchester to the bustling capital city.

Building on its success, Weilai Concept embarked on another milestone in 2023 with the completion of a Series B funding round, securing £1.3 million from ZWC Partners. This significant infusion of capital enabled the brand to expand its market reach across Europe, including countries like France and Germany.

Our Story

It all started in 2014, when friends Michael and Tim were sitting in a small London café, sketching ideas on the back of a napkin. Both had spent years scouring markets and furniture shops, always on the hunt for unusual pieces that told a story. What frustrated them was how hard it was to find truly original homeware on the high street. So, they decided to do something about it. Combining Michael’s retail know-how with Tim’s flair for photography and PR, they launched Weilai Concept – an online interiors store dedicated to bringing together unique, characterful designs from around the world. What began as a side project has since grown into a thriving brand with thousands of products, a passionate team, and customers across the globe. Their mission remains the same: to inspire creativity and help people design homes that feel personal, beautiful, and full of character.
